Terms of Service
Last updated: August 16, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Help4Docker Labs, the interactive Docker and Docker Compose learning platform operated by Help4Docker (“we”, “us”, “our”), including the website at help4docker.com, labs, sandboxes, AI assistant, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and current.
3. Accounts and sign-in
You sign in with a passwordless “magic link” sent to your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. The Service
The Service provides guided, hands-on laboratories that execute Docker and Docker Compose commands inside isolated, per-session sandboxes, together with an AI learning assistant. Features may vary by subscription plan. We may modify, add, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice where feasible.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the sandboxes to attack, probe, or disrupt the Service, other users, or third-party systems;
- Upload or run unlawful, infringing, or malicious content or software;
- Attempt to escape the sandbox isolation or access host resources;
- Scrape, crawl, or copy substantial parts of the Service, or resell access;
- Impersonate others, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
6. Plans, payments and billing
The Service offers a free plan, a one-time Starter plan, monthly and yearly subscriptions, and a lifetime plan, as described on the pricing page. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed by our third-party payment provider; you agree to their terms. Subscription renewals are automatic until cancelled; you may cancel at any time from your account, and access continues until the end of the paid period.
7. Refunds
Because the Service provides immediately consumable digital content, all purchases are final and non-refundable, subject to the limited exceptions in our Refund Policy. Please review that policy before purchasing.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its curriculum, software, design, and branding, is owned by Help4Docker and protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal learning purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.
9. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., chat messages). You grant us a license to store, process, and display it to operate and improve the Service. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, abuse of the Service, or non-payment. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; provisions that by nature survive will continue to apply.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results from the labs are accurate.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Help4Docker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars (USD 100) if you have not paid anything.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Help4Docker and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Help4Docker is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
